Dr Alan Forster is an Associate Professor in Building Conservation, Low Carbon Materials & Design, & Architectural Technology at Heriot-Watt University. Before entering academia, he worked in industry for 10 years and this formative experience fostered a deep interest in construction & engineering pedagogy.
